SeraniAI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by Viso Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the SeraniAI mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we may collect your phone number, display name, timezone, and authentication identifiers from sign-in providers such as Google or Apple (via Firebase Authentication).
Tasks, reminders, and focus data
We store the tasks, reminders, recurring plans, focus sessions, streaks, and related productivity data you create in the app so the Service can work across your devices.
Voice and AI interactions
When you use voice or chat features, we process the audio, transcripts, and messages you send so SeraniAI can respond, manage your tasks, and remember context you choose to save. We do not use your AI interactions for advertising.
Contacts (optional)
If you choose to use friend lookup, the app can read contacts on your device so you can search by name or phone number. We only send a specific phone number to our servers when you initiate a lookup. Your full contact list is not uploaded.
Microphone
The app requests microphone access when you record voice messages or use voice features. Audio is processed to provide those features.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, we use push and local notifications to deliver reminders, task alerts, and focus-session updates. We may store a device push token for this purpose.
Usage and diagnostics
We collect limited technical and usage information, such as app events, device type, and crash or performance data, to keep the Service reliable and improve features.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, and AI processing providers, under contracts that limit their use of your data
- Other users when you use social features, such as sending or accepting friend requests
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required
4. Third-party services
The Service may use third-party services including, where applicable:
- Google Firebase (authentication and push messaging)
- Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In
- Analytics providers
- AI and speech processing providers used to power voice and chat features
Those providers process information according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
5. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of certain stored memory or your account, subject to legal and operational requirements.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can decline optional permissions such as contacts, microphone, or notifications, though some features may not work
- You can clear selected AI memory from within the app where available
- You can delete your account from the app or by contacting us
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps designed to protect your information in line with this policy.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
